Terms & Conditions

A list of Terms and Conditions regarding commissioning a Portrait, purchasing Artwork or other goods from HRSelf Artist.

Please make sure to read the points carefully before agreeing to purchase any products.

 

When buying an item, you agree that you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to purchase and completing the payment process.

 

For Commissions, payment of the non-refundable deposit signifies your agreement to the following Terms and Conditions.

Copyright:

HRSelf Artist retains the copyright of all Artwork produced and reserves the right to use any Artwork for promotional and marketing purposes.

Clients who would prefer for their commissioned Portrait not to be used for these purposes must notify the Artist beforehand.

The Artist does not give permission for the reproduction of any commissioned and Original Artwork or images found on this website or social media pages. 

Please contact the Artist if you wish to request permission to reproduce a Portrait in advance. Both parties must agree in writing before any reproduction.

Deposits for a Commission:

When booking a commissioned Portrait, a deposit payment of 30% of the total quoted cost is required. 

This is non-refundable, except where the Artist is unable to complete the work due to unavoidable circumstances.

The agreed invoice represents a written contract for the exact work to be completed at the quoted price.

Any amendments or alterations must be agreed in writing by both parties and may be subject to additional charges and the customer accepts full responsibility for any additional costs incurred. The clients will be made aware clearly and at the soonest opportunity, if any additional charges apply.

Payment for a Commission:

Payments are made via Bank Transfer (details are listed on the invoice) and the client is required to pay a 30% deposit to secure their booking slot and the remaining balance being required once the Portrait is complete. Under no circumstances will any Portrait be shipped before receiving the full payment. 

Clients are expected to pay the final balance within one week of completion, unless agreed otherwise.

(In the event the Client is not happy with the finished drawing result and the Artist can not make the amendments requested, the order will be cancelled, but the Artist retains the rights to keep the non-refundable 30% deposit, to cover material costs and the Artist’s time)

After 8 weeks the discarded commissioned Artwork is deemed to belong to the Artist, therefore granting the rights for it to be sold as Original Artwork.

 

Damage in transit for a Portrait:

Should the unlikely case of damage occur during transit, as each parcel is very well packaged to try and avoid any issues, the client is required to supply photos of any packaging or artwork damage, and contact the Artist immediately via hreselfartist@gmail.com

Through the images, the damage will be accessed to see if there is any possibility of repair. The artwork will need to be returned back to HRSelf Artist and the return postage should be covered by the Client.

If the damage cannot be fixed, the Artist will complete a new Portrait for free.

In the event a parcel gets lost, as the Artist ships via the Royal Mail Special Delivery service, meaning it's fully insured. A claim will then be taken up with the delivery company, once it's been accepted and the claim process has been settled, the Artist will redraw the commissioned Artwork.

Replacement Artworks will be added to my commission slot wait list and the Artist will supply an approximate start date in advance.

 

Please be aware even though the same subject is being redrawn, this doesn't guarantee an exact replica of the first rendition. Due to the hand drawn nature of the Portraits, the Artist will do their best to recreate the subject as close as possible again.

Website images:

Please note that the Artist makes every effort to accurately represent colour matches of all items available on this website compared to the physical product. Also be aware that due to the differences in individual computer or phone screen settings, this could cause some colour change discrepancies compared to the items you purchase.

 

The prices HRSelf Artist charges for a commission service or for products listed on the website, are subject to change and the Artist reserves the right to alter the prices at any time, and to correct any pricing errors that may occur. These changes will not apply to any already accepted commissions. 

 

HRSelf Artist may, without prior notice, change the services, stop providing them or any features of the offered services. The Artist may permanently or temporarily terminate access to the services without notice and liability for any reason.

HRSelf Artist reserves the right to modify these terms from time to time at their sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. If you do not agree to any of these Terms and Conditions, do not use or access this website or any of the services.
